A group of runners on a dirt road
This image depicts a group of 16 runners running away from the camera on a dirt road. This group is likely a Craftsbury running camp and consists of both men and women wearing short running shorts and t-shirts or tanks. The road the runners are on appears to be King Farm Road and they are running towards the intersection of King Farm Road and Mill Village Road. The field on the left side of the road appears to have been mowed while the field on the right side has much taller plants. There appears to be grass growing by the right edge of the road but its possible that the plants growing five feet in and further is corn. Where the road dips out of sight there are two houses visible on the left. The furthest left house appears to also have a barn nearby. Both the house and barn have a dormer window. Only the roofs are visible. The house further to the right but still on the left side of the road seems to be a long trailer home. Like the other structures, only the roof is visible. There are some deciduous trees (with leaves) sprinkled between and around all three buildings. On the right side of the road is a large stand of deciduous trees (with leaves). Behind the houses and past where the road dips out of sight is Little Hosmer Pond. The water is washed out as is the sky above it. To the far left of the image part of the Lowell Range is just visible. Also, in the foreground on the left side of the image there is a hand and a sneaker most likely belonging to another runner who appears to be moving towards the photographer given the toe of the sneaker is pointed directly at the camera. This photo appears to have been taken during the summer. There are no visible shadows so it seems to have been cloudy. The image is black and white.
