County:
Bennington
State:
Vermont
Date:
1915 - 1920
Description:
This is a black and white photograph of railroad tracks running down the center of the image. Utility lines run along either side of the tracks. There is a side road that runs perpendicular to the tracks in the center of the image. A cluster of individuals stands toward the far right of the image. Almost all of the individuals are holding black umbrellas indicating that it is rainy in this scene. A man is walking along the tracks and is seen toward the back of the image. There is a wrecked carriage that appears to be deserted on the right side of the tracks. Leafy conifers and deciduous trees dot the landscape around the railroad tracks.
