Alton W. Adams Estate
Town:
Brattleboro
County:
Windham
State:
Vermont
Date:
1958-07-23
Description:
The Alton W. Adams estate is photographed here. A large wooden-framed building can be seen housing vehicles. On the front of one of the sliding barn doors is a sign reading "Elm Brook Farm." A hay truck sits inside the barn and a second truck sits in front of the building. To the right of the building is a second smaller wooden-framed building with a chimney on the left side of the roof. In front of the building is a field with crops growing. Utility lines can be seen cutting across the photograph. The property was photographed because it was affected in some way by the construction of interstate I-91.
