Title:
Limestone Bedding and Waterfall
- Date:
- 1900 - 1950
- Description:
- This image shows a limestone outcrop with a small waterfall streaming down from the top of the cliff. A forest grows at the top of the outcrop and appears to consist mainly of conifers. Distinct bedding is visible throughout the outcrop and a small amount of vegetation appears to grow at the base of the image. The season is most likely summer. Dean Goss writes on 2008-05-17: This waterfall isn't in Vermont...it's Minelot Falls at the Indian Ladder, John Boyd Thatcher Park, Voorheesville, in Albany county, New York.
