Description:
This historic image is of damage to the White River Railroad through Gaysville from the 1927 flood. Severe landslides have occurred below the tracks leaving exposed roots and bedrock, and large boulders. There are also some wooden boards and a large picture frame in the foreground. The image is taken from below the railroad where most of the damage occurred, looking up at the tracks. There are bedrock walls to either side of the debris pile. The season is fall.
