This historic Collamer Abbott photograph shows a man, Byron Hathorn, haying in a large field, Kelton Place, with trees growing in front of him and across the road. In the foreground is a man in a white t-shirt and baseball cap driving a tractor pulling a mower. He is in the middle of a gently sloping field. In front of him is a small cluster of deciduous trees. To his left the field slopes down to a road lined with utility poles and lines. Across the road are a black vehicle and a small house. Beyond the house is another field surrounded by a hilly forest of deciduous and coniferous trees. The season is late summer or early fall.
