Title:
Baptistry and Tabernacle White River Advent Campgrount
Town:
Hartford
County:
Windsor
State:
Vermont
Date:
1890 - 1910
Description:
This photograph shows the Baptist Advent Campground. Short grass and foliage suggest autumn is setting in on the old houses and gazebo that border the campground property. While there is no obvious structural damage to the buildings, the lean and warp of their structure suggest they are old. Behind these structures appears to be an old barn, which sits adjacent to a collapsed building. Running across the top of the photograph is a string of lights that runs from tree to tree, along with other various electrical wires. Deciduous trees dominate the campground foliage, with an occasional appearance from a conifer species. The high hills in the background appear forested with deciduous tree species.
