Title:
Paving of Route 15
- Date:
- 1939-06
- Description:
- Photo shows the paving of route 15 in Underhill. Two large road grading machines are moving over a gravel road bed. The distance one looks like a roller being pulled by a tracked vehicle (dozer?). The closer one is a grader. There are finer grain materials exposed on the sides of the road in and near a drainage ditch and utility poles line the road along with a wire fence. Note cleared land on both sides of road and large boulders or outcrops. This is summer.
