Description:: Stereoview shows field of glacial erratic boulders before a group of conifers and a forested hillside. Mollie Wills writes on 2008-12-29: Stereoview shows a field of glacial erratics with a forested hillside in the background. There is one large boulder in the right foreground of the image, and the rest of the field is dotted with numerous smaller rock fragments. Note the slight fissures in the largest boulder. There is a cluster of large conifers at the back edge of the clearing, and several small seedlings beginning to take root amongst the rocky field. Past the conifers is a sizable hill, completely forested with deciduous as well as coniferous trees. Note the rocky outcroppings halfway up the hill, the larger being on the right. There are no leaves on the trees and no snow on the ground. This image was taken in late fall, winter, or spring.
