Title:
Railway undercut by erosion
- Date:
- 1927-11
- Description:
- Image shows undercut river bank with railroad tracks. The slope above the tracks is steep and some rock crops out. Below the tracks appears to be unconsolidated sand or till. The river is cutting directly below the bank. There are few trees in the image. Power line poles follow the tracks to the left. Note that several of the poles in the background are leaning. The slopes in the background are barren, with virtually no vegetation.
