Title:
Bolton Town Road with Rock Outcrop
- Date:
- 1909-03-29
- Description:
- The historic image shows a dirt road with a muddy section and a large glacially or fluvially smoothed outcrop on the left. On the right side of the road are utility poles and a field of hay. In the distance are the Green Mountains. The image is taken in the Winooski River Valley. This is likely road to Waterbury from Richmond. The railroad line runs along the right side and there is a building (house?) in the center. Looks like summer. A handwritten caption at the bottom of the image reads, "Bolton Town Road."
