Description:
The historic image shows a barnyard at Oakledge after Webb modifications. The original farmhouse appears to be in the background. The cupola and slate roofs with gabled dormers are Webb era additions. The last of these barns was demolished in 1975 to make way for condos. There are wagons parked near wooden fences on the right side of the image. Hay is piled in a storage shed on the left side of the photograph. A caption at the bottom of the photograph reads, "Image property of Shelburne Farms Collections. All rights reserved. May not be reproduced without permission. 1611 Harbor Road Shelburne, VT 05482."
