Airplane View of New Haven Looking South

Title:
Airplane View of New Haven Looking South
Town:
New Haven
County:
Addison
State:
Vermont
Date:
1938
Description:
This is a black and white photo of an airplane view taken from 1938 of New Haven looking south. You can see a long road that looks to be paved and it runs through the center of the photo. To the left of the road you can see railroad tracks and a train. The body of water behind the train has been iced over. There are a few houses and a few trees, but it looks as though this is a rural area. All image rights reserved to Henry Sheldon Museum, www.henrysheldonmuseum.org. Bev Landon writes on 2011-01-28: New Haven Junction Route 7 runs bottom to top Route 17 intersects from the east and after crossing the railroad tracks heads west. Also flooding area clearly shows up
