Description:
This is a historic image of a small one-story wooden building near Williston. This building has four large pained windows on the left side of the house and two windows and an enclosed entranceway on the right side. Large deciduous trees and long grasses surround the house. A utility line is strung from the right side of the image to the crest of the peaked roof. Season is summer. Richard Allen writes on 2007-02-22: This is the Red Schoolhouse in St. George. Built in 1852, housed students until 1965.
