This is a photograph depicting the corner of E. Allen and Main Street after the renewal process occurred. A large brick building with windows all across the front is the main subject of the photograph. It takes up most of the upper half of the photo but a small white building can be detected on the right side of the brick structure. Cars are present on the road in front of the building and a silver pickup truck is parked in the front left side of the photograph. A child in a red shirt and blue jeans is depicted at the bottom of the photograph seemingly waving his hand.
There is not much vegetation present in the picture considering it was taken in early spring. However, if you look close you can see a couple leafless trees present in the “courtyard” area in front of the road that is in front of the big brick building. The picture was taken on a sunny day with a clear blue sky.
The difference between these two images is really astounding. The building that was originally hidden in the back of the picture is now the only building left standing. Initially it was the last building in a picture covered partially by the two that stood in front of it. Now all that stands in front of this large brick building is part of the roundabout and a courtyard area in the center of the roundabout.
