This is a photograph depicting the corner of E. Allen and Main Street after the demolition occurred. A large brick building with windows all across the front is the main subject of the photograph. It takes up most of the upper half of the photo but a small white building can be seen on the right side of the brick structure. Cars are present on the road in front of the building and a silver pickup truck is parked in the front left side of the photograph. A child in a red shirt and blue jeans is depicted at the the bottom of the photograph seemingly waving his hand. There is a stop sign and bricked sidewalks as well as street lamps.
There is not much vegetation present in the picture considering it was taken in early spring. However, if you look closely you can see a couple leafless trees present in the “courtyard” area in front of the road that is in front of the big brick building. The picture was taken on a sunny day with a clear blue sky.
Clearly there is no longer rubble present in front of the building. Rather you can see part of the new circle they created during the Winooski renovations. Instead of the demolition area there is now a road that is a section of the roundabout. In the middle of the roundabout there is some new landscaping where the rubble used to be. You can also notice the time difference by looking at the different cars present in the photographs.
