This is a picture of the Main Street in Winooski after the renewal process. It is looking northwest up the street. At the end of the street to the right side there is a large brick building with two rows of windows. To the left of the street there is a barrier between the parking area and the road and in the two parking blocks there are numerous cars parked. You can see a sliver of a white building in the lower left corner of the picture and then two brick buildings and another white building towards the top of the street. Stop lights and land posts line both sides of the street and there are two cars coming towards the photographer in the roundabout
On the right side of the street you can see part of the courtyard that is in the middle of Winooski’s new roundabout. There is a large patch of green grass met by a stone walk and a small walking path about half way up the picture. There are numerous trees in the courtyard (without leaves) and a flagpole. There is vegetation also in the background of the picture that seems to be more filled out than the trees present in the center of the roundabout. The picture was taken on a sunny clear day.
Clearly this picture is completely different from the original. On the left side of the original picture you can see the brick building (the last building in the row) that is much more visible in the new photograph. This is because the first 5 buildings in the old photograph no longer exist and were replaced by the roundabout and courtyard. The parking on the left side of the street is also new.
