View of site of American Woolen Mills, Winooski VT, from Salmon Hole. This photo represents a closer view of the mill site than the original photo. In this photo one can see that the mill is no longer extant. There is a newer red brick building that appears to be some sort of housing. There is still a smokestack.
One can see exposed bedrock on an angle with shrubs and low vegetation growing out of it. The water is still in the foreground; the water in the distance is moving. There is considerable cloud cover (the photo was taken a few minutes before a thunderstorm struck). Monkton quartzite is visible.
