This photograph documents the house at 178 South Prospect Street in Burlington Vermont. The house is set back from the road, with a large front lawn that is covered in snow. A walkway leads from the front of the house to the sidewalk, however it is just barely visible due to the fact that it is now shoveled. A wide variety of deciduous shrubs and large conifer trees surround the house, with the only deciduous trees visible being one large and one small Elm that can be seen on the left hand side of the photograph. While a car along South Prospect St. (paved) obscures some of the porch, the house still appears very similar to the historic photograph. The only difference between the two photographs being the angle at which they were taken, and the ability to see the Living and Learning Center behind the house at 178 South Prospect today.
