Historic photo shows the steamer Chateagay at the dock in St. Albans bay. The dock is built on wooden piling with a building attached to the left, upon which flies the American flag. Groups of people stand on the dock as well as the deck of the boat.

This is the steam boat dock at St. Albans Bay located approx. 1/3 mile east of the present town (formerly state) dock. Here boats were met by the St. Albans Street Ry. which carried passsengers and freight to and from the city of St. Albans, 3 mile to the east, in the first two decades of the 2oth century.
