Connect to our network:
  • In Your Room

Many computer models no longer have a built in Ethernet port, if you'd like to use a wired connection you may need to purchase an Ethernet adapter. There are two network jacks in every residence hall room, which are turned on and ready to go - presto! You will need to register to use the campus network by visiting web address netreg.uvm.edu. If you'll be living in a triple and you all have computers, you can pick up a minihub from your Main Desk on or after move-in day.

Game consoles and media devices will need to be registered for use on the WIRED network by visiting go.uvm.edu/playonline.

  • "UVM" — UVM's Wi-Fi Network:

Wireless access is available in the residence halls and around campus. Connecting to the UVM wireless network is simple. Choose the "UVM" network from the list of available wifi networks, enter your UVM username and password, and you're connected! For more information, read this.
