Acessing Software via Network Share for Microsoft
Enrollment for Education Solutions

Accessing and installing common software covered by Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (formerly "Microsoft Campus Agreement") is as easy as connecting to a network share over the campus network. The share paths are:

Windows (Start > Run) Macintosh (Go > Connect to Server)

\\files.uvm.edu\shared\software\MS-Vol-License\Windows

Username: CAMPUS\[your-netID]
Password: [your-password]

cifs://files.uvm.edu/shared/software/MS-Vol-License/OS X

Workgroup or Domain: CAMPUS
Username: [your-netID]
Password: [your-password]

Replace [your-netID] with your campus NetID and [your-password] with your Net-ID  password. If you log into the CAMPUS domain on your Windows workstation, you won't need to enter your username and password.

Choose the appropriate operating system from the directories available, and choose your install type. You can install directly over the network (for high-speed networks) or copy the installer to your local disk first.

Installation is authorized only on computers owned by the University of Vermont.

Personally-owned computers

Microsoft Office is available at no charge to current UVM students, faculty, and staff for use on up to five devices, including smartphones and tablets. See go.uvm.edu/getofffice.
