Mapping UVM Network Drive on Mac OSX

Click in the background area of the desktop.  This will put you in Finder.
In the Finder menu, click on "Go"
From the drop-down menu, click on "Connect to Server".  (Shortcut tip: press Command + K)



In the pop-up dialog box, under "Server Address", type (without the quotes)
"cifs://files.campus.ad.uvm.edu/<NetID>" (replace with your UVM NetID).  Then click "Connect".
Example: cifs//files.campus.ad.uvm,.edu



In the username and password dialog box, type your UVM NetID and password.
Then click "Connect".



The volume is now mounted.
