Internet Access for UVM Affiliates
The list below outlines general considerations for choosing an Internet service provider. Which option is best for you depends on what your requirements are, as well as where you live, since not all options are available in all areas.
General Recommendations for Internet Access Options
1. If you are interested in high-speed access (DSL)
(and live in an area covered by Sovernet DSL) or dial-up
Internet access, we recommend Sovernet.
Sovernet dial-up access is available throughout the state -- and
dial-up access when you are away from home is included at no extra
charge for Sovernet DSL customers.

dial-up Internet access, we recommend Green Mountain
Access. Green Mountain Access dial-up access is available

is included at no extra charge for GMA DSL customers.
