Importing UVM calendars into iCal
Personal Oracle Calendar Agenda
If you are an Oracle Calendar user, you can subscribe to your Oracle calendar agenda as a feed into iCal (provided that you have not restricted read access to your agenda). The URL to subscribe is:
http://scripts.uvm.edu/cgi-bin/CT_Cal.pl?fn1=surname&gn1=givenname&period=year&asical=1
Replace surname with your Oracle Calendar surname (last name) and givenname with your Oracle Calendar given name (first name). For example:
http://scripts.uvm.edu/cgi-bin/CT_Cal.pl?fn1=kapoodle&gn1=myron&period=year&asical=1
Open the iCal application and follow these steps:
- Select Subscribe from Calendars menu
- Enter the calendar URL (as outlined above) and choose an appropriate refresh interval
- Click the subscribe button
- Double-click on the name of the new calendar to change it a more descriptive name
