List of file types blocked by the UVM email gateway
Following is a list of attachments that are dropped from @uvm.edu email to help protect end users from malicious code that is commonly contained in these file types:

| *.chm | *.cla | *.class | *.cmd | *.com |
| *.cpl | *.crt | *.eml | *.exe | |
| *.hlp | *.hta | *.inf | *.ins | *.js |
| *.jse | *.lnk | *.msc | *.msi | *.mst |
| *.ocx | *.pcd | *.pif | *.reg | *.scr |
| *.sct | *.shb | *.shs | *.url | *.vb |
| *.vbs | *.vbe | *.vba | *.ws | *.wsf |
| *.wsh | *.wsc | *.???.exe | *.???.lnk | *.???.pif |
*.zip containing any of the above mentioned file types
