UVM's central webfarm, hosting www.uvm.edu and other sites, has been upgraded from PHP 4 to PHP 5. PHP5 is a significant conversion, and we expect some things not to work correctly. The sooner we have bug reports, the sooner we can help you fix them. The best method for getting help and sharing information will be to post to the uvmwebinfo@list.uvm.edu mailing list. We realize this conversion may be painful for some, but PHP 4 is no longer supported and isn't receiving security updates, so we must move ahead. We'd also like to thank web developers who have been asking for PHP 5 for a long time for their patience.
