Are you on LinkedIn? Change Your Password Now

Those of us who have LinkedIn accounts need to change our LinkedIn passwords immediately. News reports indicate that LinkedIn passwords have been stolen and posted online. Although the posted passwords are encrypted, it is a just matter of time before they are cracked and used.
If you have used the same password for LinkedIn and for your UVM Net-ID, you should change your password immediately at www.uvm.edu/account. Contact the UVM Computing Helpline if you need assistance changing your password. The same advice applies to any other online sites or services for which you've used the same password as your LinkedIn password.
