WHY:

The Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP) requires institutions to establish training and oversight mechanisms to ensure that research staff are aware of local and federal requirements for performing research on human subjects.

This tutorial is our mandatory training.

NOTE: “Beginning on October 1, 2000, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) implemented a policy requiring education on the protection of human research participants for all key personnel submitting NIH applications for grants or proposals for contracts or receiving new or non-competing awards for projects involving human research participants.” (Release Date: September 5, 2001 NOT-OD-01-061)
