WHEN:

• Before beginning research at UVM or FAHC:

The tutorial is required for all new researchers involved in human subject research, off-site researchers, and IRB committee members prior to conducting research at UVM/FAHC. The IRB does not release approvals for new and continuing protocols until all individuals involved with human subjects on the project have completed this training.

• Every three (3) years:

All individuals that continue to work with human subjects will be required to take the tutorial every three years.
