Video of UNFCCC COP24 side event on Food, Energy and Water Security Early Warning Systems

The Institute for Environmental Diplomacy and Security organized a side event at the UNFCCC COP 24 in Katowice, Poland on implementing Food-Energy-Water (FEW) Security and implementing early warning systems (EWS) for adaptation to climate change.

This side event featured: Malik Amin Aslam, Advisor to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Climate Change and Global Vice President-IUCN; Asim Zia of the University of Vermont; Dr. Maria del Pilar Cornejo, former National Secretary of Risk Management, Dean of the Faculty of Marine Engineering and Sciences at ESPOL (www.espol.edu.ec) and Director of the Pacific International Center for Disaster Risk Reduction, Ecuador; Ilan Kelman, Institute for Risk & Disaster Reduction, University College London; Dr. Michael H. Glantz, Director, Consortium for Capacity Building, University of Colorado.
