The Humanities Center is pleased to announce its new book group: Humanities Matters. Join us on Wednesday, 8 November, at 4:00 p.m. in the Davis Center's Williams Family Room for a discussion of Sinclair Lewis's 1935 novel, It Can't Happen Here. We will kick things off with a faculty panel, featuring Professors Dona Brown (History), John Burke (Political Science), and David Jenemann (English). This event is open to all UVM students, faculty, and staff. Light refreshments will be served. Need the book? The Humanities Center will provide a FREE copy to anyone interested in participating. Pick yours up in the CAS Dean's Office (438 College St.), English Department (400 Old Mill), or Humanities Center (A506 Old Mill). If you have any questions about this event, feel free to contact Luis Vivanco (Luis.Vivanco@uvm.edu) or Liz Fenton (Elizabeth.Fenton@uvm.edu).
