PeopleAdmin User Types

To determine an individual's appropriate level of access to the system, review the following:

Department User Hiring Manager
Typically a Business Manager Typically the Supervisor of the position in question
Ability to initiate an action on any position in their department's library. (Actions include recruitments, opportunity hires, staff off-cycles and reclassifications.) Access is restricted to postings to which they have been assigned.
Ability to view the department's staff position descriptions. Ability to review applicationsand change applicant status of assigned postings.
Access to salary information for all positions in the department. (This functionality is not available at go-live, but will be implemented in the future.) No other permissions or access in the system.
