UVM is committed to ensuring that salaried, nonexempt staff are paid fairly for all time worked and that our employee records adhere closely to Department of Labor time reporting requirements. Beginning January 1, 2012, salaried, nonexempt staff are responsible to report both time worked and exception time using the existing PeopleSoft Timesheet.
Time reporting for faculty, classified exempt staff and hourly-paid employees is not affected by this change.
Supervisors who approve time for salaried, nonexempt staff are required to review and approve time worked and exception time each pay period using the same steps previously used for reviewing and approving vacation, sick time, and other time off.
These two mini-manuals serve as guides to all aspects of time reporting for salaried nonexempt staff and their supervisors. The manuals contain detailed instructions, examples and answers to common questions.

Open labs have been scheduled for those seeking guidance to enter or approve salaried, non-exempt time. This is an opportunity for one-on-one assistance through the process and reservations are not required. Here's the schedule:
