CODE 'E' includes:
EXECUTIVE: Include all persons whose assignment is at, above or equivalent to assistant vice president, associate vice president or any other title representing or reporting directly to an executive vice president, vice president, the provost or the president.
ADMINISTRATIVE: Include all persons whose assignment is at, above or equivalent to dean, director, major department head (with 10 or more employees), with responsibilities for overseeing programs and directing the work of professional employees.
MANAGERIAL: Include all persons with assignments as assistant/associate dean, director, department heads and those responsible for management, including supervisors of professional employees.
Code 'P' includes:
PROFESSIONAL/NON-FACULTY: Include all persons whose assignments include academic support, student services, instructional support and generally requires college degrees or special experience (accountant, counselor, nurse, etc.).
Code 'C' includes:
SECRETARIAL: Include all persons whose assignments include responsibilities for internal and external communications, including paper work and filling, but not primarily accounting of sales-related positions.
CLERICAL: Include all persons whose assignments include primarily tabulating, bookkeeping, sales, data entry (not programming), payroll clerks.
Code 'T' includes:
TECHNICAL: Include all persons whose assignments require specialized knowledge or skills such as computer programming, engineering aids, L.P.N.s, dietitians, scientific or technical assistants.
PARAPROFESSIONAL: Include all persons whose assignments are supportive to technical and professional efforts but do not require extensive formal education or training.
Code 'K' includes:
SKILLED CRAFT: Include all persons whose
assignments require special manual skills and thorough knowledge of work,
such as mechanics, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc.

MAINTENANCE: Include all persons whose assignments include performing duties which contribute to the upkeep and care of buildings, grounds and facilities.
