To apply for a staff position at the University, you must submit an online application at our jobs site.
All jobs are posted for a minimum of one week. After this the jobs may be closed at any time. You must apply for a specific position prior to the deadline stated on the posting (if applicable). Applications will not be accepted after that date.
It is not necessary to include a cover letter and resume with your application, but it is a good idea to do so. They may be helpful in elaborating skills and experiences which are particularly relevant to the job for which you are applying. The resume and cover letter must be submitted online through uvmjobs.com. Please note that uploading a resume does not substitute for completing the application form, and we cannot accept faxed or mailed applications.
Once you have completed one electronic UVM application, you need not complete another each time you apply for an opening. Simply resubmit the same application for each job. (If you wish to edit or update your application, this must be done before you submit it for a specific job–you cannot modify your application for a job after you have submitted it.
