Recruiting Resources Provided to Departments by HRS
Provide resources for recruiting departments and answer questions regarding the recruitment process, interviewing, reference checks, assisting individuals with disabilities, etc.
Respond to routine applicant inquiries regarding job opportunities and employment at the University.
- Serve as a resource to applicants for assistance in writing resumes, cover letters, and preparing for interviews.
Discuss and confirm job posting details with hiring supervisors.
Provide advertising assistance in writing and placing advertisements in local, regional, and national publications and newspapers and Internet job sites.
Act as liaison to community organizations and represent the University at community meetings and functions.
Act as liaison for temporary employment needs.
Update and maintain the Employment Hotline.
Update and maintain Employment Opportunities online.
Access computerized applicant and position data to provide current information to internal and external customers.
Provide training workshops for hiring supervisors and internal applicants
