Job Overview

Provide technical, database and administrative assistance in support of University facilities information management system.

Typical Functions

Provide technical, database and administrative assistance in support of University facilities information management system; use judgment in prioritization of work tasks and in application of data processing functions; review operational processes to enhance data and system accuracy, integrity and security; make recommendations to improve efficiency and ensure consistency and compliance with University processes and procedures.

Oversee, maintain and update multiple databases, files, tracking system, aerial mapping and related documentation; maintain, edit and enhance building drawings on Auto CAD file system and prepare setup drawings for events; develop and prepare documentation and annual reports; monitor and authorize financial transactions; coordinate billing process.

Serve as resource for internal and external constituents; respond to inquiries and provide technical information related to reporting and systems; research and fulfill plan files and blue print copies on request; use judgment in dissemination of information based on a comprehensive knowledge of departmental and University guidelines and regulations.

Administer and provide instruction related to annual web based space inventory process; coordinate and track University facilities renovations, construction, reallocation and occupancy; review space inventory reports and documentation.
 
Provide functional supervision to designated employees and/or affiliates.


Minimum Qualifications

Education and experience equivalent to: 

Bachelor's degree and one to three years related experience and specialized certification required.
