Provide general to specialized computer equipment services to clients in academic, administrative, and health care environments.

Provide general to specialized computer equipment services to clients in academic, administrative, and health care environments; use judgment in making decisions regarding application of technical solutions within the context of industry and University guidelines.
Provide technical guidance, support, and
maintenance; evaluate and resolve computer
related inquiries and system performance
problems; diagnose, configure, install and
test hardware, software, and related peripheral
equipment; may provide individual and group
training and instruction for internal users
related to current and new software systems.
Research hardware and software requirements and assist on/off-site clients in acquisition planning; analyze and determine client hardware, software, and peripheral needs; design, plan, and implement shared/network computer facilities and systems.
Provide oversight of and promote technical services; maintain customer relations, resource information, related records, and computer hardware parts inventory; evaluate and recommend service fee schedules and adjustments; identify, order, and purchase parts and materials.
Operate University vehicle on/off campus.
May provide functional supervision to designated employees and/or affiliates.
Education and experience equivalent to: Bachelor's degree in related field and two years' related experience required. Valid license or abililty to obtain and drivers' check required.
