Job Overview

Provide assistance and perform routine equipment operation and maintenance in support of University print and mail services.

Provide assistance and perform routine equipment operation in support of print and mail services; use judgment in decisions regarding adaptations to standard bindery techniques.

Perform manual and mechanical bindery functions; operate equipment to include machine folder, collator, spiral binder, stitcher, drilling machines, and booklet-making tools; fold, collate, stuff, pad, laminate, and trim materials; perform routine equipment maintenance.

Perform basic bulk mail activities; address, prepare, and package materials for shipment and distribution following established University and external quality and regulatory requirements.

Perform data entry of job information and status; create delivery labels and logs using standard software applications and equipment.

May operate University vehicle on campus.

Minimum Qualifications 

Education and experience equivalent to:

High school diploma required. Lifting of up to 40 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions. Valid driver's license or ability to obtain may be required.
