Keri Bryan hails from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While earning her BS her research focused on the effects of exurban development on biodiversity. For the past year, she has worked on a Payments for Ecosystem Services project in rural Haiti. She is broadly interested in how development can be balanced with the conservation of ecosystem services and biodiversity. As a graduate student at UVM, her research will focus on quantifying and mapping ecosystem services across the state of Vermont.
