Human-induced climate change is happening and the impacts are being felt around the world. This winter, 82 Vermont High School students, more than a dozen staff, and a cadre of specialists in renewable energy, conservation, the arts, and social action will gather at Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont for a weekend of learning and action. Students come away with deeper knowledge of the problem, a voice to articulate their ideas about such an immense issue, and specific ways in which they can make positive personal and societal changes. We intend this weekend and its programming as a model for others to adapt around the country as we all seek to make planet Earth a better place to live.
