The amount of Carbon Dioxide stored in the trees of Centennial Woods was calculated using known calculations and the diameter of the trees.
As a result we calculated that the total amount of Carbon Dioxide stored in the trees at any given time is about 70,840,000 lbs.
In comparisson with the amount of Carbon Dioxide stored in the trees, the drivers in Burlington, VT emmit about 374,000,000 lbs of Carbon Dioxide per year. These numbers were measured on different scales, therefore we decided they should not be compared directly.
