Why We
Chose to Study the Vegetation in East Woods
Studying the vegetation of a
plant habitat comes in handy when you want to know more about the habitat specifically.
Studying a plant habitat was important to us because we wanted to know
what
sorts of species were growing in
certain areas.
Having this knowledge leads us to conclude which environmental factors are best for
which species, telling us more about East Woods.
Research Questions
How do plants species vary
across a slope?
Does the age of a tree
correspond to its diameter?
How does soil affect the
diversity and distribution of plant species on a random transect line?
