Habitat Of Mushrooms
James, June, Travis

Background:
We went to East
woods and on the first day we located a lot of Mushroom. We
decided to focus on coniferous trees. Our first test showed what
mushrooms were found in the different status of trees. The
different statuses of the trees included fallen dead, standing dead,
and healthy. We then randomly selected trees to search for mushrooms.
If the tree had mushrooms we documented which kind of mushrooms they
were and how many their were. These included guilded mushrooms, hard
shelf mushrooms, soft shelf mushrooms, hard shelf muchrooms, frilly
mushrooms, and blanket fungus. The trees that we used in the study
included pine trees and hemlocks.
