The first ice cream group explores downtown Burlington and the mysterious steam rising from the science center.

What Happened

Oh.  It was hot today.  Enjoying another fine breakfast the institute set out once again for the farms.  A few clouds and a breeze helped a little but by late afternoon, everyone was ready for another swim (except that shore group that spent the day in the water).  We had dinner on the UVM green, eating pizza under stately trees.  After dinner, we split the group with some students doing a GIS project (mapping Shelburne Farms) and others learning more about Burlington.  Really?  There was a gully that went right through town?  Right here.  Cremees finished off the evening and the College Street shuttle sure was a nice way to come back up the hill.
