Welcome to Alli Thurston's Web Page

Here are a few things about me:

I attend school at Thetford Academy where I will be a junior in the year 2003. Recently, I decided to attend a Science and Technology camp at the University of Vermont. The first day was completely filled with activities.

Before the day started we were led around the campus of UVM and were given a brief tour.

We were told about the buildings we would be using throughout the week and the different

activities we'd be taking part in.

One of our many activities during our first day was a game that showed

us the patterns of a species' growth and decline in population.

Another activity had to do with measuring our pace. Once we measured our pace,

we wrote it down and stuck it on our backs. Then without talking,

we had to line up from smallest pace to largest pace.

Later on, we visited the Ethan Allen Homestead. We went on a guided tour

to learn about the famous Vermonter and watched a short video that gave a quick overview his life.

Towards the end of our day, we spent time making web pages in this computer lab.

The web pages were anything that the students wanted to put together. It could be about them,

their friends, their family, or thier trip to UVM.
