I teach science at Otter Valley Union High School in Brandon, VT.

My research interests include using bioindicators to asses ecosystem health. Studies include using aquatic organisms, benthic macroinvertebrates, as water quality indicators and using lichens as indicators of air quality.

My personal interests include organic gardening, hiking, skiing, running, and ultimate frisbee!

I believe in playing hard, finding good people to work with, loving your work, and being good at what you do.

I am married to Shelley Gustafson, wetlands scientist and former GIVSAT teacher.
