Snow Density-
The mass of snow per unit volume which is equal to the
water
content of snow divided by its depth
Step One: Take a snow core sample and record the snow height in cm.
Step Two: Carry tube to scale being careful not to spill any of the sample

Step Three: Weigh the snow sample and record in kg.
Step Four: Calculate Density
Density = Mass/ Volume
