My name is Ellen Rushman. I am 15 years old, and entering 10th grade next year. I live in Cabot, Vermont, and attend Cabot School. It is a pre-k through 12 school of about 150 kids. In the high school, there are about 80 kids. I really like the small setting because you get to know each other really well. I have one brother and one sister. I also have three dogs. Today is day one of the Governor's Institute for Science and Technology. All 34 of us have been here since 10:00am this morning, and it already seems like home. We explored the sites that we will be working at over the week in the rain. Over the next few days, we will continue to study our surroundings and have fun!
